gridhound is a Deep Tech spin-off from the E.ON Energy Research Center at RWTH Aachen and has positioned itself as the leading AI start-up in the field of state estimation for power distribution grids. gridhound also offers various services and software solutions in data quality management, analysis, planning and control for distribution grid operators. The use of AI provides the energy industry with urgently needed data – especially for the operation and planning of current and future grid infrastructure. gridhound promotes the energy transition through its contribution to digitalization, automation and transparency in the distribution grid.

CEO of Solarpack Germany

Robert Hienz is CEO of Solarpack Germany and previously held various executive positions in German and European energy companies (including CEO of Mobility House, CEO of E.ON Energie Deutschland GmbH, CFO of E.ON France S.A.S.). With his extensive knowledge of the European energy industry and his many years of management and sales experience, he supports gridhound in corporate development and further expansion into the European market.

Prof. Dr. Antonello Monti
Director of the Institute for Automation of Complex Power Systems

Professor Antonello Monti is the Director of the Institute for Automation of Complex Power Systems at the E.ON Energy Research Center (ERC) at RWTH Aachen University and Group Leader at Fraunhofer FIT – Center for Digital Energy – in Aachen. Before joining RWTH, he was a Ph.D. Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of South Carolina. gridhound is a spin-off of the E.ON ERC and continues to be supported by Professor Monti as a visionary and ideas contributor.
